Marti Hess

Marti has over 20 years’ experience working with nonprofit organizations, primarily in the human services sector. Her skills range from program design to executive leadership. As a certified coach, Marti supports individual and organizational transition and growth by building bridges between diverse people, envisioning the big picture, and accelerating new initiatives with tangible results. Her leadership style is facilitative, working with others to develop strategic direction, implementing objectives, and achieving desired outcomes.
Marti currently serves as the Board President for Leap to Success, a women’s empowerment organization, and provides consultation to several nonprofits in San Diego. She teaches grant development classes at various locations in the region. Marti attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and San Diego State University, where she graduated with a BS in Health Science. She is a certified life coach and an Inspired Learning Facilitator.
