Kim Laru
Kim Laru has been a special and public librarian in San Diego for over 25 years. Retired from the public sector in 2014, she now volunteers for nonprofits, counseling in grant research, instructing in the Foundation Directory Online (FDO) database. She also assists small all-volunteer organizations in nonprofit management. Kim holds a Masters of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the San Jose State University, is the President and Bookstore Manager for the Friends of the Skyline Hills Library, and is a “tweenie” kitten foster through the San Diego County Dept. of Animal Services.
