Keri Jhaveri has served as a community liaison to deepen school and community partnerships and designed art education programs for K-12 students, families, adults, classroom teachers, and volunteers. She earned an MA in art history from UT at Austin, and a primary teaching certificate with the Association Montessori Internationale. She specializes in collaborating with teaching artists, educators, and community partners to design and implement innovative programs ranging from collaborative poetry writing to art activism for community awareness projects. Presently, Keri oversees the professional learning and arts intervention programs at Arts for Learning San Diego, a Young Audiences affiliate. She designs art education professional development opportunities for classroom teachers, teaching artists, and community partners, as well as managing art education programs in partnership with the Juvenile Court and Community Schools.
