Angie Myer has over 25 years of experience in education and nonprofit management, with extensive facilitation and coaching experience. She began her career in the public school classroom, teaching children and then community college students. She moved to San Diego where she served as Dean of Education and Director of Operations for two holistic health schools. Angie has successfully engaged diverse groups of adult learners in teacher training, writing, compliance, and quality service.
Angie is currently the Director of Accreditation for the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA), a non-profit accrediting agency recognized by the Department of Education to evaluate massage and esthetics programs. She runs all facets of the agency, recruiting members, evaluating reports, planning, budgeting, working with the Board and DOE, and training over 40 volunteers.
She holds a Masters of Education from the University of Colorado and is a member of the Association of Talent Development.
