||The five-week Volunteer Manager Learning Group examines the changes in the nonprofit sector affecting volunteerism, challenges in creating an organizational culture that supports and maximizes the value of volunteers, and the skills needed to effect change. This specialized program offers in-depth professional development in a unique networking environment that supports peer learning. Led by a facilitator as well as subject area experts.

Participants will each identify a project to complete. Past participants have researched databases, updated volunteer handbooks and created volunteer exit interview process. During the session, cohort partners will provide feedback and support. All sessions feature a high degree of participant interaction, hands-on activities, and tools and resources that can be applied immediately. This group meets 5 Wednesdays, May 1-29. CVA Credit=15 PDUs.
