||In this Learning Group, professionals receive coaching from experts and input from peers. Five, three-hour sessions provide hands-on training for those interested in bringing more knowledge of inclusion, equity and diversity to their nonprofit organizations.
Participants will explore the history and framework of "isms". They will define biases, values, identity and entitlement. In this learning group participants discuss why we are here, who we are in relation to others and what we can achieve together. Participants will also examine why systems of oppression were developed. This environment sanctifies safe space and time to develop a curriculum for participants to take back to their organizations to share what the organization can do to be champions of inclusion, equity and diversity.
