||Daniel Golemanís 1995 book, Emotional Intelligence, popularized the developing field of Emotional Intelligence (EI). Much of the interest in EI has been driven by its application to leadership. EI is a major factor in successful performance, relationship building and effective self-management.
This spring, Non-profit Management Solutions launched its 1st Emotional Intelligence workshop. In this workshop, participants will learn how to measure Emotional Intelligence. They will discuss the four domains of Golemanís work: Self-knowledge/Self-awareness, Self-management, Awareness of others and Managing Relationships. They will also recognize the importance and impact of these domains in a professional environment. Participants will leave with a developed action plan for increasing their own Emotional Intelligence and will be on their way to mastering mindfulness, optimism, empathy, emotional reasoning and self-control.
This workshop is a foundational workshop and relative to employees in all positions.
