Tailored to meet the challenges facing fundraising professionals who are responsible for the creation and implementation of their organizations’ development plan.

In this Learning Group, Development Professionals will receive coaching from experts and input from peers. Five, three-hour sessions provide hands-on training for fundraising professionals in nonprofit organizations to improve their skills. Participants will also create and/or refine their Development plan and learn the keys to its implementation.

Who Should Attend
This learning group provides a nuts and bolts approach to development planning for organizations that are building individual giving programs. Coaching is tailored to meet the challenges facing development professionals who are responsible for the creation and implementation of their organizations’ development plan. Those who are seeking in-depth, specialized training and executive coaching with their peers should join this group.

CINDI PHALLEN - Cindi is an expert in fund and board development with over 20 years experience. Her focus is on helping organizations accelerate their impact, particularly in the areas of board development and resource development. She is the founder and President of Create Possibility, and an affiliated partner with Nonprofit Management Solutions. As part of the Executive Leadership team for the YMCA of San Diego County, Cindi led many successful campaigns, including capital, annual and endowment efforts. In addition to the YMCA, Cindi has provided successful consulting and coaching services to many nonprofit organizations, such as San Diego Youth Services, SAY San Diego, and Hubbs-Sea World Research Institute.
