SHELLI CHOSAK, PH.D. has been active in the field of Organizational Consulting and Psychotherapy for the past 25 years, and holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology. Her areas of specialization are in Conflict Management, Change Management, Interpersonal Communication, Productivity, Leadership Development, Empowerment, Team Building, Stress Management and Executive Coaching. Shelli has been active in community organizations and is a member of the Organizational Development Network and the American Society for Training and Development.
STEPHEN MURPHY has more than 20 years experience in training and human resources management. He earned the Navy’s highest award for training excellence and has designed and conducted hundreds of seminars on race relations and equal opportunity, workplace violence prevention, and leadership development.
SHERRI PETRO is a strategic planning, leadership and marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience. She is currently a Principal with VPI Strategies, a firm she joined in 2001. Sherri is an expert facilitator and public speaker, having led more than 100 seminars, and she distills her expertise as an executive coach.
PHYLLIS QUAN is a management consultant with expertise in many aspects of nonprofit organization development, corporate public affairs and private foundation relations. Prior to her work as a consultant, Phyllis was a program officer for the California Council for the Humanities, then for ARCO Foundation, where she was appointed executive director in 1984. She currently serves on the boards of Torrey Pines High School Foundation.
JEFF TOISTER has been training since 1994 for a variety of both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Most recently he spent 4 years as the Director of Training and Development for Ace Parking, managing the training function for 4000+ employees. He is currently the owner of Toister Performance Solutions, which specializes in helping organizations improve customer service and employee performance. Jeff holds the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential and is active in the San Diego Chapter of ASTD (the American Society for Training and Development), serving on the Board of Directors since January 2005.
CINDI PHALLEN is an expert in fund and board development with over 20 years experience. Her focus is on helping organizations accelerate their impact, particularly in the areas of board development and resource development. She is the founder and President of Create Possibility, and an affiliated partner with Nonprofit Solutions. As part of the Executive Leadership team for the YMCA of San Diego County, Cindi led many successful campaigns, including capital, annual and endowment efforts. In addition to the YMCA, Cindi has provided successful consulting and coaching services to many nonprofit organizations, such as San Diego Youth Services, SAY San Diego, and Hubbs-Sea World Research Institute.
